Library

We thank God for His unending faithfulness to the authors of these books as without them we would not have such excellent literature to read.

The library now has over 1000 books. During the last two years we have really battled with space on the shelves to pack all the books. It was suggested that to save the cost of building a new book case we move the existing book case to the office, behind the bookshop and then make use of the shelves in there to accommodate the books.

Margaret Cooper then removed all the books and the book case was moved into the office, where the Fiction books were separated from the Non-fiction books. The Fiction books were then placed on the existing book case and the Non-fiction (consisting of the biography, auto biography and study type books) were placed on the book shelves of the office. This has made is so much easier to replace books that have been returned. For members of the library, it has made it easier for them to find books that are not novels without having to go through all the books to find what they are looking for.

Members are now able to come to the library on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, as access to the library is so much easier.

We would like to thank all those who have donated books to the library and all those who so faithfully pay their fees as this enables us to have new books almost every month to offer the members.

We would like to encourage everyone to become readers (bookworms) and join the library!

Thank you to Margaret who goes out and buys the new books and also covers, records and packs all the books. Without her I know that I would not be able to cope.
