Little People's Church

Little People's Church (formally known as "The Baby Bible Class") changed its name in the beginning of this year, as well as its looks. The class caters for children ages 0 – 5 and aims to provide them with age appropriate, Christ-centred learning and post curricula activities that keep them occupied in a loving environment during the morning services.

Little People's Church enables:

  • Children, aged 0 – 5, receive age appropriate Christ-centred biblical learning – and love it!
  • Mothers of young infants and toddlers are able to attend the worship services which enables them to be sustained and grow;
  • Little ones do not disturb the others seeking to worship; and
  • Children develop the long lasting behaviour of actually enjoying attending church and develop no negative connotation to it.

This past year the following children enjoyed this ministry:

  • Katie Holdt (2 years old);
  • Jamie Lester (2 years old);
  • Bayden Erasmus (4year old);
  • Julian Lester (4 years old);
  • Ashton Hooseria (4 years old);
  • Joshua Finnegan (5 years old); and
  • There were a number of visitor's as well.

This ministry has a major impact on both the mothers of and children within this age group; we are blessed to know that both we and our children receive the Word – at the right level.

Little People's Church enjoyed a little face lift in the beginning of 2010. The sharp edged tables were replaced with round cornered plastic ones – ideal for busy bees. There was much need for age appropriate toys and apparatus which was attained during this face lift.

Please note: Please do not put any toys in the Sunday School Classes, donations are welcome, but always make them directly to Bill / Margie Grundling or the specific teacher you had in mind.

A big thank you to the ladies who take turns to look after the little ones during the past year namely: Helen Holdt, Cathy Erasmus & Lynn, Jenny Humphreys, Madeleine van Zyl, Chanel Olivier, Aurial Hooseria, Charlene Erasmus.

Kind regards

Amanda Finnegan
