Our pastor looks back over 2010
I think we could call it an encouraging year for Beavers, with an average attendance of about 14 children, in whom there is always a wonderful sense of excitement and anticipation. Each evening is begun with a warm and fun type of welcome, followed by some games, a Bible study, cold drink and biscuits, and then some activities related to the Bible study. Chanelle Olivier has proven to be such a blessing in her commitment to be at Beavers every Friday, organising the games, refreshments and Bible study activities. I am so grateful to the Lord for her.
It is my prayer that our Friday nights will not only be remembered as a time when fun was had, but as a time when affection for the Lord Jesus Christ was stirred in the hearts of children.
I also pray that over the course of the next year, willing members of our church family may consider the privilege of adding to our Beavers team, and discover the joy of serving in this way.
